Pale-throated sloth is a three footed sloth that inhabits the tropical rainforest of south america.This sloth lives high in the canopy it is a mammal classified with the brady dodidae family.It is one of only four species of three sloths the other three being the pygmy sloth,mamed sloth,and the brown-throated sloth.Pale-throated sloths have almost no tail or exernal ears,and its head is slightly rounded with a blunt nose the body is covered with long and coarse hair very small algae sometimes lives mutalistically inthe pits of the hair,which gives the sloth an overall greenish appearnce that serves as a camouflage.Male pale throated sloths have a bright yellow or orange patch on the back the females have two mammae in the chest region most sloths are armed with long,compresses arched hollowed claws of which the middle claw is the longest.
The uakari monkey also known as the red faced or bald-headed uakari monkey is very distinctive and found in south america they have very little fur on there face,with a bright red facial skin a sign of good health,enabling them to chose the healthiest to mate with they have long thick white or red body fur with short,bushy tails they are on average 53cm long and weigh 3000 grams with 15cm tails they usually live around 20 years. feeding on seeds and flowers and some small animals breeding season is between october and may female encourages the male to mate by releasing an attractive scent the gestation period unknown.
